Judy D. Bishop

TRINITY-Judy D. Bishop, 80, passed away on Tuesday, May 4, 2021.

She was born on February 22, 1941, in Guilford County, daughter of the late William and Beulah Doby Dusenbury. A resident of this area all her life she was a retired employee from Barnhart Manufacturing, and she was a member of Uwharrie Baptist Church. Judy enjoyed, shopping, working in her flowers and fishing; especially at High Rock Lake. She had a kind and loving heart, and she never met a stranger. Her true love and passion was spending time with her family. In addition to her parents, preceding her in death were her husband, Roger Bishop and her beloved Collie, Bobo.

She is survived by her sons, Jackie Nealey and his wife, Linda, Andrew Nealey, Gary Nealey and Jimmy Bishop and his wife, Tammy; her sister, Aloma McDowell and her husband, Dan; seven grandchildren and a number of great grandchildren.

A service to celebrate Judy’s life will be held on Monday morning, May 10, at 10:00 a.m., from the graveside, with Pastor Roger Carmichael officiating. Her family will greet friends following the service, at the cemetery.
