Kailyn Wright Douglas

It is with a heavy heart, but peaceful mind that we let you know that Kailyn has passed away.  She took her last breath with us by her side early Tuesday morning. 

Kailyn, since she was little was; loving, head strong, feisty and determined. She proved that until her final moments. 

Kailyn was diagnosed with Batten Disease in 2016. Throughout every phase of the disease she showed her ability to fight with all she had, until she physically couldn’t do it any longer. 

Kailyn, in her short life impacted countless lives and inspired so many. Kailyn taught us how to love, how to fight and how to not take any moment for granted. Kailyn made us better parents and made Keeleigh the loving and compassionate girl she is. Kailyn showed us how to love unconditionally, and above all, she made us all who we are. 

Thank you so much for the prayers, love, and thoughts. They have and continue to be felt by all of us.
