Kathy Joyce (Howell) King

Kathy Joyce Howell King, 66, of High Point entered into her heavenly home on Tuesday, July 9, 2019 from Wake Forest Baptist Hospital. 

Kathy was born in High Point on October 8, 1952 to the late E. W. Howell, Jr. and Ophelia Joyce Lassiter Howell. 

She was a loving,caring Wife, Mother and Nana. She always was thinking of others instead of herself. She loved animals. loved to plant flowers, read, and to spend time with her husband and family. She was an amazing and a one of a kind woman. There will never be anyone to compare. 

Those who will cherish her memories are her husband of 50 years, James “Ronnie” King; daughter, Tracie Grant; brother, Mark Howell and wife, Christina; grandchildren, Danielle Herron and husband, Sam, Morgan Grant and fiancée, Devin Hatter; great-grandchildren, Gabriella Herron, Samantha Herron, Alayna Torres, Danae’ Grant, Michelle Herron to be born August 7th; nephews, Caleb Howell and Colin Howell and her beloved dog, Blackie King. 

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 13, 2019 at Floral Garden Park Cemetery in High Point with the Reverend Linda Suggs officiating.
