Kathy Lynn (Davis) Robbins

Kathy Lynn Davis Robbins, 70, of Archdale, died, Friday, September 15, 2023, at Hinkle Hospice House. 

A native of Guilford County, Kathy was born, July 15, 1953, a daughter of the late Carley E. Davis and the late Maxine Lowe Davis. After graduating high school, Kathy went to work in administration for Blue Bell Jean Company which eventually became VF Wrangler; she retired after 40 years of service to the company. She was a longtime faithful member of Poplar Ridge Friends Meeting. 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Allen Robbins; and her brother, James "Jimmy" Allen Davis. 

Left to cherish her memory is her brother, Kevin Davis of Lexington; sister, Lisa Draughn (Gregg) of High Point; and nephews, Travis Draughn (Holli) of Raleigh and Justin Draughn (Carver) of Charlotte. 

A celebration of Kathy's life will be held at 2:00 pm on Thursday, September 21, 2023, in the chapel of Cumby Family Funeral Service, Archdale with Rev. Michael Thames officiating. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm at the funeral home. 

Inurnment will follow the service at Floral Garden Park Cemetery. 

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to an Animal Rescue or Animal Shelter of your choice and/or Susie's Rescue, 1589 Skeet Club Drive Suite 102-227, High Point, NC 27265.
