Red Angel Bryant, a member of the Lumbee Tribe of NC, was born October 4, 1972, in Lumberton, NC and transitioned on June 12, 2022, at the age of 49 years young. She was preceded in death by her father, Bruce Bryant; her “Pops”, James D. Strickland; a special Uncle, George C. Lewis and a brother, Sandy Hunt.
Kim is survived by her mother Letha Dial-Revels (Donald) of Pembroke, NC; her brothers Randall Bryant (Heidi) of Charlotte, NC and Derek Deese. Left to cherish her memory and continue her legacy are her daughters Chelsea Bryant and Kamiyah Wilson; sons Taylor Bryant and Curtis (CJ) Wilson, Jr. and her stepdaughter, Cierra Wilson.
In addition, she is lovingly survived by her cousin/sister and confidante, Nora Dial-Stanley (Steve); her treasured grandson, Juelz Amir Posey and precious granddaughter Miyani Lynn Miller; stepsisters LeAnn Melvin (Kevin) and Christina Thedorou (Ioannis); and the two who “Aunt Kimmy” adored and was a mom to, Ryan Dial-Stanley & Raven Dial-Stanley. She also leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and extended family that will miss her immensely; as well as her many ‘sisters in heart’ that will forever keep her memory alive.
Kim was employed with Tempur+Sealy of Trinity, NC for the past 18 years as Production Scheduler. She was a graduate of Southern Guilford High School of Greensboro, NC.
Funeral will be 1:00 p.m., Thursday, June 16th, in the chapel of Cumby Family Funeral Service in High Point. Interment will follow in Floral Garden Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
