Kimberly Denise (Shaver) Way

Mrs. Kimberly Denise Shaver Way, 56, of High Point, passed away Thursday, April 19, 2018, at the Hospice Home at High Point.

Born February 13, 1962, in High Point, Kimberly was the daughter of the late Richard and Elaine Phillips Shaver. She attended Woodlawn Baptist Church and worked for Harris Teeter on Skeet Club. She enjoyed crocheting and reading, and loved everyone she met.

On May 15, 1982, she was married to Ricky E. Way, who survives of the home. Also surviving are five children, Jennifer Carraway and husband, Jeremy, Michael Way and wife, Leslee, Matthew Way, Jeffrey Way and wife, Sydney, and Bradley Way; a granddaughter, Lorelei Carraway; two brothers, Steven Shaver and Keith Shaver; and five sisters, Libby Frye, Vickie Coltrane, Lisa Cox, Sandra Walters, and Wendy Shaver.

The family will have a service to celebrate Kimberly’s memory 2:00 p.m. Saturday, April 28, 2018, at Woodlawn Baptist Church, in High Point, officiated by Rev. Josh Gentle. The family will receive friends following the service in the church fellowship hall.
