High Point – Leo William Boles, 85, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Tuesday, June 24, 2020.
Leo was born in Blackstone, VA on May 27, 1935 to the late Sebron Monroe Boles and Alzie Mae Mitchell Boles. In addition to his parent his was also preceded in death by brothers, Billy Eugene Boles, Lawrence Monroe Boles and sister, Mary Boles Hunt.
Leo was a devoted husband to his wife of 61 years, caring father and loving grandfather. He was a member of the Thomasville Church of Christ and was strong in his faith.
He enjoyed cars and motorcycles and was very knowledgeable about both. His true enjoyment came from family gathering and reunions with good food and music.
Cherishing his memories are his wife, Ruby Alice Henderson Boles; children, Lee Boles and his wife, Jeanette of Thomasville, Judy Holdren and her husband, Robert; step-daughters, Retha Linville, Vicki VanLeuvan and her husband, Roy; ten grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
The family will greet friends from 1:00 until 1:45 p.m. on Monday, June 29, 2020 at Cumby Family Funeral Service at 1015 Eastchester Drive in High Point. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. with Minister Alan Martin officiating and burial will follow at Guilford Memorial Park.
