Linda Gayle Morrison

HIGH POINT – Linda Gayle Morrison, 57, died Saturday, May 15, 2021 at Woodland Hill Center in Asheboro.

She was born April 27, 1964 in High Point and was the daughter of the late Richard Gordon and Jayne Gerald Morrison. She was a graduate of Southern Guilford High School Class of 1982 and a member of Cloverdale Church of the Living God where she served as the church photographer. She was a devoted mother and homemaker, worked at Marsh Furniture Company and later worked as a receptionist with Ryerson. Linda enjoyed spoiling her grandchildren and spending time for her family and church family. She also enjoyed gardening and beach music.

Linda is survived by her children, Mitchell Penny (Ariel) of Clyde, NY, Dustin Penny (Leigh) of Thomasville, Amanda Shaw (Jason) of Denton, Kerri Tollison (Lawrence Cannon) of Thomasville and Rebekah Hunt of Randleman; eight grandchildren, Chazz, Kylie, Rylie, Jaxon, Chevy, Madelyn, Cooper and Samuel; two sisters, Lori Webster (Russell) and Lisa Thompson both of High Point; and several nieces and nephews.

The family will conduct a memorial service celebrating Linda’s life 5:00 PM Friday, May 21, 2021, at Cloverdale Church of the Living God with Pastor David Perry officiating.
