Louise Cox Cruthis

Louise Cox Cruthis, 75 of High Point died Saturday, November 10, 2018 at her home.  Born April 16, 1943 in High Point she is a daughter of the late Bill Cox and Lena Goins Cox.  Mrs. Cruthis will be remembered as a loving, caring and giving person who loved NASCAR, birds, collecting and Elvis.  She loved the Lord and in her younger years enjoyed retreats at Black Mountain with her sisters.  Her love of children led her to be a day care worker and later a school bus driver for the Guilford County School System.   Mrs. Cruthis enjoyed spending time with her husband of 58 years at their cabin in the mountains.  In addition to her parents, Mrs. Cruthis was preceded in death by a grandson, Bradley Wayne Cruthis.

Mrs. Cruthis is survived by her husband, Kenneth A. Cruthis of the home and three children; Kenneth Wayne Cruthis and wife Tammy of Sophia, Annette Cox and husband Bill of Thomasville and Penny Boone and husband Steve of Seagrove.  Also surviving are two granddaughters, Crystal Cox, Megan Cruthis and a great grandson Noah Campbell and four sisters; Rebecca Riley and husband Tom of High Point, Alice Morgan and husband Buddy of High Point, Jenny Charles and husband Mike of Jamestown and Billie Faye Chambliss and husband Johnny of High Point.

Funeral services for Mrs. Cruthis will be held 11:00 am Wednesday in the chapel of Cumby Family Funeral Service, Archdale with the Reverend Brian Charles officiating.  Interment will follow in Deep River Friends Meeting Cemetery.  The Family will greet friends Tuesday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 pm at the funeral home.
