Marcella walked into the loving arms of the Lord on May 19 at the age of 23. She was born on April 28, 1995 in High Point, NC to Mignon Ritchwood and Cordell Farley Sr. She graduated from Matoaca High School in VA with high honors in 2013.
Marcella was a devoted daughter and sister. She enjoyed being with her younger siblings and babysitting. Some of her hobbies included taking different art classes, painting, cosmetology, and swimming. She thoroughly enjoyed being by the ocean and was an avid animal lover, especially of cats. She was quick to care for and love any animal she encountered. She had dreams of becoming a journalist and obtaining a cosmetology license.
Marcella was taught about God at an early age by her strong, devout Christian grandmother, Dorothy Ritchwood and other family, as well as attending church.
Marcela leaves to cherish her memories with her mother Mignon Elkes and stepfather Tim Elkes, father Cordell Farley Sr. and stepmom Latrice Farley, younger brothers Alan Ritchwood, Kellen Elkes, Cordell Farley Jr., Brandon Farley, younger sisters Lily Elkes, Olivia Farley, older siblings Justin Elkes, his wife Meagan Elkes, Tyler Elkes, his wife Heather Elkes, aunts Antoine Conroy, Yvette Warren, Tina Ritchwood, Venus Ritchwood, Melissa Hawkes, uncles Michael Conroy, Cedric Hawkes, Kermit Hawkes Jr., Poppy Kermit Hawkes, Nanny Lucy Hawkes, cousins Teara Velez, Bianca Ritchwood, Kobie Purkett, Jacobie Warren, Shatina Purkett, and a host of other cousins and family.
