Marie Elizabeth Gray

Marie Elizabeth Gray, 50, of High Point was called to her heavenly home on Friday, August 10, 2018.

Marie was born March 4, 1968 in Greensboro.  Like a beautiful butterfly, Marie had a kind and gentle spirit and this was demonstrated in the way she treated others.  She enjoyed entertaining other with Bingo and other games at Sheraton Towers where she lived.

Marie was preceded in death by two brothers; Ricky and Marvin Gray.

Those who will cherish Marie’s memories are her parents; Phil and Lettie Mikles of High Point, special friend and caregiver; John Wolf, brothers; Phil Mikles, Jr. and David Gray, sister; Lora Hawkins, special niece; Audrey, godson; Tyler and many other half-brothers, cousins, nephews and nieces.  She will also be missed by her many friends.

A funeral service will be 2:00pm on Sunday, August 12, 2018 at the Chapel of Cumby Family Funeral Service, 1015 Eastchester Drive in High Point, officiated by Rev. Charles Mustian and Rev. Ronnie Scott. Burial will follow at Midway Baptist Church Cemetery in Jamestown.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, August 11, 2018 from 5:00 until 7:00pm at the Cumby Family Funeral Service.
