Martha Jane (McDaniel) Nunn

High Point – Martha Jane McDaniel Nunn, 74, passed away peacefully on Friday, November 19, 2021 at WFBH – High Point Medical Center.

Martha was born in High Point on January 7, 1947 to the late George Watson McDaniel, Sr.  In addition to her father, Martha was also preceded in death by a brother, George Watson McDaniel, Jr.

Martha was a member of Sunnyside Baptist Church.  Her love of children was evidenced in her careers of being a Daycare worker and a cafeteria worker at Parkview Elementary School.

Martha is survived by her husband of 57 years, Otis Anderson Nunn, Jr.; son Sam Nunn of High Point; grandchildren, Christa Evens of Asheboro, Adam Carl Nunn and wife, Marissa of High Point and her sister-in-law Martha Beth McDaniel of High Point and four precious great- grandchildren, Kylie, Brayden, Gracelynn and Milena.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, November 29, 2021 at Cumby Family Funeral Service at 1015 Eastchester Drive in High Point with Reverend Mark Shore officiating.  Burial will follow at Floral Garden Park Cemetery in High Point.
