Mary Toomes Hunt

TRINITY-Mary Toomes Hunt, 60, passed away on Friday, March 16, 2018.

She was born on March 7, 1958 in Randolph County, to the late Joseph and Connie Cruthis Toomes. A resident of this area all of her life, she attended Lakeview Freewill Baptist Church in High Point. Mary enjoyed shopping at Belk and going to the beach. Her true love and passion was spending time with her family and friends; especially her children and grandchildren.

She leaves to cherish her memory; her husband of 43 years, Gerald Hunt; her children, Josh Hunt, Casey Clark and her husband, Heath, Megan Morgan and her husband Tony, Ashton Mitchell, Jacob Hunt and Joseph Hunt; Her siblings, Libby Earls, Frankie Toomes and his wife, Carolyn, James Toomes and his wife, Hilda, Jane Queen and her husband, Russell, and Wendy Absher. Also surviving are her grandchildren, Kaylie, Campbell, Hunter Grace and Ellie.

A service to celebrate Mary’s life will be held Tuesday, March20, at 11 am in the chapel of Cumby Family Funeral Service, Archdale, with Pastor Doug McGee officiating. Interment will follow in Randolph Memorial Park Cemetery. Her family will receive friends on Tuesday from 9:45 am until 10:45 am, at the funeral home.
