Mary Lou (Tuttle) Tuttle

Mrs. Mary Lou Joyce Tuttle, 81, of High Point passed away Friday, August 11, 2017, at Moses Cone Hospital in Greensboro.

Born May 9, 1936, in Stokes County, Mary Lou was the daughter of the late Claude England and Bessie Sue Dillon Joyce. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by three brothers, Smithwood, Lloyd and Curtis Joyce. Mary Lou grew up in High Point and graduated from High Point Central High School. She was retired from Triad Fabco and was of the Baptist faith. She had lived the last 20 years in Surfside Beach, SC, before returning to High Point a month ago.

Survivors include two sons, Steven Clark Tuttle, of Chicago, IL, and Travis Channon Tuttle, of Hudson, WI; four grandchildren, Carl, Mary, Samantha and Travis Tuttle; three nieces, Sharron Sue Kearns, Brenda Mencken, and Lori Ann Turner; and one nephew, Wray Joyce.

Funeral will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday in the Floral Garden Memorial Park Mausoleum Chapel, officiated by Rev. Harold Shives. The family will receive friends Wednesday afternoon from 12:30 until 1:30 at Cumby Family Funeral Service in Archdale.
