Matthew Ryan Davis

Matthew Ryan Davis, 31, of High Point, passed away, Sunday, March 24, 2024, at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center, following a tragic motorcycle accident.

A native of Guilford County, he was born on August 6, 1992, to Michael Dwayne Davis of Carolina Beach and Angela Huston of High Point. Matthew attended Ledford Senior High School and worked at Mavis Tire Company. He deeply loved his family and friends, and enjoyed making people laugh. Matthew had such a big heart and would give you the shirt of your back if you needed it.

Left to cherish his memory in addition to his parents are his daughters, Avery Davis of Lexington and Ryan Davis of Colorado; grandparents, Stephen and Fredean Ferguson of Kernersville; brother, Stephen Ferguson (Kaneisha) of Thomasville; sister, Stacey Davis of High Point; uncle, Jimmy Davis of Florida; nieces, Tori Ijames of High Point and Calleigh Rose Ferguson of Thomasville; nephew, Gavin Lewis of High Point; and numerous extended family members and friends.

Memorial services will be held at 2:00 PM, Friday. March 29, 2024, in the chapel of Cumby Family Funeral Service in High Point. The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM - 1:45 PM, prior to the service at the funeral home.
