Maxine Prudie (Myers) Ridge

Maxine Prudie Myers Ridge, "Granny", was born in North Wilkesboro on June 5, 1931 to Zoa and Alma Myers. She attended school at Mt. Vernon, and has lived in High Point for the past 67 years.
She married James Eugene Ridge on November 19, 1949. She had a daughter, Susan Dianne Ridge, 2 brothers: Johnny and Clyde Myers; 4 sisters: Grace Myers Williams, Ruby Myers Byrd, Jessie Myers Adams, and Mary Myers Oxendine; who have all preceded her in death.
Maxine is survived by her son, Randy Ridge and daughter-in-law, Sandra Ridge; grandson, Jason Ridge, and his wife, Brittany Ridge; 3 great-grandchildren: Alyxis Ridge, Khalon Ridge, and Cora Ridge; and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Friday June 26, 2020 at Cumby Family Funeral Services, located at 1015 Eastchester Dr, High Point, NC 27262 at 2:00 p.m., and a memorial service by Pat Ray to follow at 3:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation in honor of Maxine to The Division of Services for the Blind.
