Melissa Hunsucker Threadgill

THOMASVILLE-Melissa Hunsucker Threadgill, 54, passed away on Sunday, July 9, 2017.

She was born in High Point on May 17, 1963, to Rodney and Glenda Sanders Hunsucker. A resident of this area all of her life; she was a1981 graduate of East Davidson High School and she had worked for Executive Delivery, and later for Sealy Mattress. Melissa was a member of Well Spring Community Church, where she served on the Sound Team. She enjoyed riding bicycles, as long as her health allowed and camping; especially at Maggie Valley beside the creek. Her true love and passion was spending time with her family. She was a loving daughter, wife, mother and grandmother and she will be dearly missed. She was preceded in death by her father.

She leaves to cherish her memory; her husband of 35 plus years, Danny Threadgill; her daughter, Ashley Bowers and her husband Clint; her mother, Glenda Sanders Hunsucker and her grandson, Morgan Daniel Bowers.

A service to celebrate Melissa’s life will held on Wednesday, July 12, at 11:00 a.m., from the graveside in Floral Garden Memorial Park Cemetery, with Reverend Daniel P. Shoaf officiating. Her family will receive friends on Wednesday from 9:15 until 10:15 a.m., at Cumby Family Funeral Service, Archdale.
