Well, so true that a compassionate heart leaves a lasting impression. I remember Melissa from my years working at Williams' Flowers and Gifts. (English Road in High Point) That was in the 1980's-1990's. She was a regular customer and always asked to speak with me. I recognized her name and her beautiful countenance from the photo here, and began remembering her gentle and kind ways. To her family and friends, my deepest sympathy to you as an angel has gained her wings.

I'm so sorry to hear of Melissa's passing. But I'm comforted to know that she has "been promoted" to her Heavenly home. I met her when we were in elementary school at Pilot and then graduated with her in 1981. What a sweet hearted soul! We could see each other at the grocery store and talk for the longest time in catching up about our families. You all will be in my prayers, asking that God fill you with good memories that over time will replace the sorrow.

What a precious soul! There are just no words.We love Melissa so much and had so many laughs and jokes at family functions. And I will never forget our summers at White Lake on family vacation as young children! And David loving your casserole at Thanksgiving and Christmas! Good Times! Also been remembering how Danny and Melissa met that night at a band function and Danny playing drums, he stole her heart that very night! What a perfect love story! Too many memories to write down. And the love she had for her daughter Ashley, Dad Rodney and mother Glenda. Hold tight to the wonderful memories you all have made together and rest in the Blessed Assurance that Melissa is in the arms of her Savior!!!! Melissa will be missed so much by so many!
