Meredith Leigh Parker Lutz

JAMESTOWN- Meredith Leigh Parker Lutz, 41, passed away on Friday, November 17, 2023.

She was born November 20, 1981, in Guilford County, NC, the daughter of Doug and Deborah Yarborough Parker. A resident of this area all her life, she attended Guilford County schools and worked as an administrator in the Transportation industry. Meredith enjoyed reading and spending time with her family and friends. Her family was her rock and her source of inspiration. She held her family close to her heart and drew strength and love from them. Her children were her pride and joy and being a mother was her greatest accomplishment, and she loved every moment spent with them.

Preceding her in death was her father, Doug Parker; an uncle, Alan Yarborough and a cousin, Mitchell Olivares.

Left to cherish her memory are her sons, Cameron, Chase, and Liam, her stepdaughters, Katelyn, and Valerie; her mother, Deborah Yarborough Parker; her brothers, Jason Parker, and Brad Parker and her significant other, Chris Trapp. Also surviving are her aunts, Robin Olivares, Paula Kelley, Pam McElroy, Debbie Yarborough, and Kim Jenkins; Her uncles, Keith Yarborough, Leo Olivares, Adam Kelley, Ray McElroy, Will Jenkins and Curtis Parker; her cousins, Amanda Smith, Krista Foust, Amber Yarborough, Justin Skrip, Amber Craig, Ashley Willey and Courtney Santhrop..

A memorial service celebrating Meredith’s life will be held at 2:00PM Saturday, November 25, 2023, in the Chapel of Cumby Family Funeral Service in Archdale with Rev. Roger Carmichael officiating.

The family will receive friends immediately following the service on Saturday at the funeral home.
