Michael Transeau

Roy Michael Transeau, 71, of High Point, passed away, Saturday, May 6, 2023, at his home.

A native of Wilkes County, he was born on April 4, 1952, son of the late Lee Roy Transeau and Imogene Brown Transeau Pruitt. Michael spent many years and miles on the road as a commercial truck driver. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his wife, Helen Transeau; brothers, Jesse Lee Transeau, Roger Transeau, David Transeau; sisters, Jeanette Kennedy, and Rebecca Scott.

In addition to his mother, left to cherish his memory are his step-father, Claude Pruitt; sister, Susan Carroza (Mark); brother, Edwin Transeau; niece, Brianna Carroza; and many extended family members and friends.

A celebration of life service will be held at 4:00 PM on Sunday, May 28, 2023, in the Archdale Chapel of Cumby Family Funeral Service. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 2:45 PM – 3:45 PM.
