Mildred (Killian) Carpenter

Mrs. Mildred Ann Killian Carpenter, 80, resident of Trinity, died October 19, 2020 at Spring Arbor Assisted Living in Thomasville.

Mrs. Carpenter was born October 28, 1939 in Murphy, North Carolina, a daughter to Julius and Pearl Decker Killian.  She lived most of her adult life in Trinity and attended Archdale Friends Meeting.  She also was employed by 3M Company for over 30 years prior to her retirement.  Mildred enjoyed visiting the beach, dancing, singing, good fellowship, and most of all, golf.

Surviving is her daughter, Celeste Bodenhamer of Trinity; a son, Al Reddick of Archdale; a sister, Helen Bryant of Thomasville; three grandchildren, Ashely Mize (Anson), Nathan Reddick and Paige Hudson; two great grandchildren, Caleb and Ansley; and a very special niece, Sherrie Wagoner.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Danny Carpenter in 2005, and two brothers.
