Mitchell Alan Olivares

Mr. Mitchell Alan Olivares, 40, resident of Archdale, died January 23, 2023 at his home.

Mitchell was born December 17, 1982 in Guilford County, a son to Leroy “Leo” and Robin Ann Yarborough Olivares.  He was a resident of this area all his life and had worked as a registered nurse.  He also was an avid soccer player, playing throughout high school and also for the U.S. National Team.

Surviving are his parents, Leo and Robin Olivares of Archdale; his sister, Amanda Olivares (Chris Smith) of Archdale; niece, Emery Lockwood; nephew, Kaleb Lockwood; aunt, Deborah Parker; and uncle, Keith Yarborough.

A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 28, at Floral Garden Memorial Park Cemetery in High Point.  Memorials may be directed to the organization of the donor’s choice.  Cumby Family Funeral Service in Archdale is assisting the family.
