Archdale – Modesto Jose Navarro-Espinoza, 92, passed away Friday, October 9, 2020.

Born February 24, 1928, in El Salvador, Modesto was the son of the late Lucio Navarro and Paz Espinoza. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Antonia De Navarro, and his son, Juan Antonio Navarro. Modesto lived in North Carolina for the last 13 years, and was a member of Manantiles de Agua Viva Church.

He is survived by his daughters, Milagro Navarro and Lucia Velazques (Juan); four sons, Manuel De Leon (Gloria), Adelmo De Leon (Eva), Jose Francisco Navarro (Mersedes), and Nelson Navarro; 16 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren; a brother, Gertrudes Navarro; and sisters, Victoria Navarro, Jesus Navarro and Domitila Navarro.

Funeral will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, October 17th, 2020, in the chapel of Cumby Family Funeral Service in High Point, officiated by Rev. Jose Heriberto Gonzalez. Interment will follow in Holly Hill Memorial Park Cemetery in Thomasville.
