High Point - Monroe Grayson Ward, 89, passed away, Sunday, September, 27, 2020, at his home, after years of declining health.
Mr. Ward worked for Murrow Transfer Company, retiring after 30 years. He was an active member of Springfield Baptist Church and the Men’s Open Bible Sunday School Class, as long as his health permitted.
He is survived by his wife, Carolyn, of the home; son Michael Ward and wife, Kim, of High Point; daughter, Deborah Booze (husband, the late Jack Booze) of Thomasville; six grandchildren, four great grandchildren; and a sister, Alice Hood, of Pleasant Garden.
Funeral will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday, October 1st, at Springfield Baptist Church, with Pastor Bobby Loving officiating. Interment will follow in Guilford Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour before the service at the church.
It is requested that masks be worn and social distancing be observed to protect our at-risk loved ones.
