My Thi Phan

December 31, 1916 ~ May 10, 2022 (age 105) 105 Years Old

Tribute

Mrs. My Thi Phan, 105, went to be with the Lord on May 10, 2022 approximately 2:30 AM at Hospice of the Piedmont on High Point, NC.

She was born on December 31, 1916 in the village of Long Huu Dong in the town of Can Duoc within the Long An province of Vietnam. She immigrated to the United States in 1993. My Thi Phan was a humble woman with a rich heart filled with love and compassion to care for others her entire life. During her lifetime, she did not have a chance to attend school because she had to take care of her 5 siblings at a young age of 13 with the youngest being 2 months when her mother passed away. My Thi Phan eventually married and is survived by 6 children, including their spouses which makes 12. As the scripture states “children are treasures” and indeed My Thi Phan was extraordinarily rich to be blessed in her lifetime with 44 grandchildren, 55 great grandchildren, and 10 great great grandchildren. My Thi Phan will always be remembered as a selfless woman, genuinely devoted to family and will be dearly missed.

A service to celebrate My Thi Phan’s wonderful life will be held on Sunday, May 15, 2022 at 2:00 PM at Vietnamese Baptist Church, 4240 Furniture Avenue, Jamestown, NC 27282 with Pastor Cao Bao Tai Paul officiating. Visitation begins at 1:00 PM and Committal service will take place at 3:30 PM at Carolina Biblical Gardens of Guilford, 5710 Riverdale Drive, Jamestown, NC 27282. Until then, My Thi Phan will remain at Cumby Family Funeral Service, 1015 Eastchester Drive, High Point, NC.
