Nancy Lou Lacey

TRINITY- Nancy Lou Lacey, 83, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, July 27, 2020.

She was born on March 6, 1937 in High Point, a daughter of the late James and Aileen McPherson Lacey. A resident of this area all her life, Nancy was an extraordinary woman; overcoming her disability, she enjoyed singing gospel music, painting, crafts, ice cream and most of all; her birthday. She could remember birthdays, anniversaries and other special dates for each and every family member. She loved her church, Glenola Baptist Church, where she was an active member as long as her health permitted. Nancy loved unconditionally and she was loved by many, and will be dearly missed. In addition to her parents, preceding her in death were 2 sisters, Bonnie Fleming and Shirley Waller.

She leaves to cherish her memory; her sister, Patsy Gibson and many nieces, nephews and friends.

Services will be held Friday morning, July 31, and will be private, and a celebration of Nancy’s life will be held at a later date.

The family would like to thank the Doctors, Nurses and staff of Graybrier Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, for their love and care, shown to Nancy while she was a resident there.
