Nancy Wagner Tucker

TRINITY-Nancy Wagner Tucker, 77, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, May 4, 2022.

She was born on February 20, 1945 in High Point, the daughter of the late Clifton and Lillian Small Wagner. A resident of this area all her life, she retired from Concept Plastics and she attended Straightway Baptist Church as long as her health permitted.  Nancy enjoyed collecting lighthouses and watching old westerns; especially Gunsmoke. Her true love and passion was spending time with her family and her late beloved Dachshund, Roxy. She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother, sister in-law and friend and will be dearly missed. In addition to her parents, preceding her in death were her sister, Shirley Wagner; a brother, Jay Wagner and a sister in-law, Jackie Wagner.

She is survived by her husband of 59 years; Ronnie Tucker; her sons, Ricky Tucker and Craig Tucker and his wife, Lisa; her brothers, Robert Wagner and Charlie Wagner and his wife, Carol; her grandchildren, Mackenzie Beddington and Cody Tucker and his companion, Melissa and her great grandchildren, Winter and Xander Tucker.

A service to celebrate Nancy’s life will be held on Sunday, May 8, at 3 p.m. from the chapel of Cumby Family Funeral Service, Archdale with Pastor Richard Blevins officiating. Her committal service will follow in Shady Grove Baptist Church Cemetery. Her family will receive friends on Sunday afternoon from 1:45 p.m. until 2:45 p.m. at the funeral home.
