Joshua “Josh” Kole Norris and Nehemiah Nacozy Pratt, both 18, died Sunday, September 13, 2020, after an automobile accident in High Point.
Though their personalities could not have been more different, their friendship couldn’t have been any stronger. It was rare to see one without the other. Both were residents of this area all their lives and, in addition to living and spending countless hours together, they were 2020 graduates of Southwest Guilford High School. Following graduation, they spent summer together hanging out with “The Boys” playing golf, sitting by campfires and playing ball. They are dearly missed but their memory will continue to live in our hearts.
Nehemiah is survived by his parents, Roy Lee Williams and Melonia Jean Pratt; as well as his seven siblings, Christy Williams, Niesha Torrence, Desiree Griffin, Nakebra Pratt, Jeremy Lewis, Timothy Williams, and Brian Williams; and many aunts and uncles. Josh is survived by his parents, Jeff and Jodi Johnson; his birth mother Jessica Keene and husband Miles Keene; aunt and godmother Jeanie Minor and godfather Fernando Reyes Minor; four sisters, Sophia Johnson, Jordan Deal, Olivia Deal, and Kezlie Deal; maternal grandmother, Katherine Thompson and husband David; maternal grandfather, Ernie Dodson and wife Marvene; great grandmother, Christine Dodson; paternal grandmother, Barbara Johnson; as well as many other aunts, uncles, and cousins.
