Oren Wade Morton

Oren Wade Morton, 94, of Jamestown, NC passed away at Brookdale Senior Living on July 17, 2019.

Oren was born on August 14, 1924 to A. C. Morton and Olivia Crutchfield Morton.

Oren graduated from Trinity High School and continued his education by graduating from High Point College with a degree in business.  He worked as a salesman for over 44 years at Sears-Roebuck in High Point. Oren also faithfully and honorably served our country in the Army during World War II.

Oren was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Catherine Hillenbrand Morton.

Oren is survived by his dear companion, Carlye Kearns; his brother, Allen Glenn Morton; his nephews Mark Morton (Kathy), Jay Outlaw (Bobbi) and Jonathan Morton; niece, Tess Morton Ware and his God-daughter, Jackie Ledwell (Craig).

Cryptside Services will be held at Floral Garden Park Cemetery, High Point, NC at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, July 21, 2019.
