Mrs. Pansy Rebecca Johnson Cundiff, resident of High Point, was called home to be with the Lord on Saturday, June 8, at the Hospice Home at High Point.
Mrs. Cundiff was born on January 24, 1933 in Wilkes County, NC, daughter of the late Martin Luther Johnson and Ethel Anderson Johnson. She was a loving homemaker and caregiver to both learning impaired children and disabled veterans.
Mrs. Cundiff attended Lebanon United Methodist Church until her health failed. Most importantly, she loved and enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She will be remembered as a loving mother by her sons, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
Mrs. Cundiff is survived by her sons, William Michael Cundiff (Kathleen) of Wisconsin; Gary Wayne Cundiff (Cheryl) of Greensboro; and Martin Gregory Cundiff (Candace) of Glenola; four grandchildren; and five great grandchildren.
Mrs. Cundiff is preceded in death by her husband William Henry Cundiff, brothers Harrison Johnson and G. K. Johnson; sisters, Hazel Swaim, Vesta Sloan and Gwyndola Dillard; and grandson, Justin Cundiff.
A Graveside Service will be held at Floral Garden Park Cemetery on Friday, June 14 at 11:00 A.M. Roland Cavanaugh will officiate.
