Mrs. Patricia Jean Sutton Malpass, 75, resident of High Point, died October 10, 2019 at Hospice Home at High Point.
She was born September 8, 1944 in Sampson County, a daughter to Harvey and Pearl Vann Sutton. As a resident of this area most of her life, she attended Leon’s Beauty School and later began a 50 year career as a hair stylist. She retired from Looking Ahead Salon in Greensboro. Patricia was a true “people person” who always had a smile on her face.
Surviving is her husband, Robert “Bob” Malpass of High Point; son, Scott Tucker of High Point; sister, Gaynelle Shipp and husband Melvin of Clinton; and brother, Billy Sutton and wife Janet of Clinton. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Elizabeth and Leatrice; and five brothers, Ambert, Otis, Harvey, Raven and Delmas.
A memorial reception will be held on Sunday from 1:00-3:00 p.m. at the Elks Lodge in High Point.
