Patricia Ann Sexton Lohr

ARCHDALE-Patricia Ann Sexton Lohr, 79, passed away on Saturday, November 9, 2019.

She was born on June 24, 1940 in High Point, to the late Jim and Mary Ellington Sexton. A resident of this area all her life, she was a 1958 graduate of High Point Central. She was an active member of the First Baptist Church of Archdale, (now Joy Community Fellowship), where she sang in the Trio, as long as her health permitted. Patricia was a self-proclaimed domestic engineer; whether she was taking care of her family, cooking and baking, or loving her grandbabies and great grandbabies, her family was her love and passion. She enjoyed shopping, bowling, going to the beach and playing cards. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother, and will be dearly missed. In addition to her parents, preceding her in death was her husband of 60 years, Wayne Eric Lohr.

She is survived by her daughters, Sandra Trotter her husband, Rick, Brona Lohr and Joni N. Lohr; her grandchildren, Russell Sexton his wife, Fabienne, Elizabeth Sexton her husband, Anthony, Dylan Trotter his wife, Ashley and Kaitlyn Kolwyck. Also surviving are her great grandchildren, Chase, Aidan, Kasidee, Hope, Konner, Liam, Noah and Haisley.

A service to celebrate Patricia’s life will be held on Wednesday afternoon, November 13, at 2 o’clock, at Joy Community Fellowship, with Pastor Bob Ferguson officiating. The committal service will follow at Trinity Cemetery. Her family will receive friends on Tuesday evening, November 12, from 6 until 8 o’clock, at Cumby Family Funeral Service in Archdale.
