Patricia "Patty" Belle (Coleman) Williams

TRINITY – Patricia “Patty” Belle Coleman Williams, 80, died Monday, August 1, 2022, at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center in Winston-Salem from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.

She was born August 25, 1941, in McMinn County, Tennessee, and was the daughter of the late Ulyssess Washington and Gussie Belle Martin Coleman. Patty was a faithful and devoted mother, grandmother and homemaker who was always kind-hearted and giving.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Jeffery “Rusty” Williams; and five brothers and sisters.

Patty is survived by her three children, Jimmy G. Williams of Linwood, Melissa “Missy” Goodrich of Lexington and April Williams (fiancé, Jeremy Rumbley) of Trinity; four grandchildren, Samantha Burkhart (Josh), Destiny Coltrane, Braden Williams and Brooke Coltrane; great-granddaughter, Oakley Rae Burkhart and one more on the way; three sisters, Anna Willis of Trinity, Fay Roundtree of Louisiana and Betty McMillan of Florida; and several nieces and nephews.

Celebration of Life service will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, August 13, 2022, in the Chapel of Cumby Family Funeral Service in Archdale with Pastor Norman Weeks officiating.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service on Saturday at the funeral home.
