Mrs. Pauline Brown Ritch, 87, resident of High Point, died November 5, 2018 at her home.
Mrs. Ritch was born August 6, 1931 in Randolph County, a daughter to the late Roy and Nellie Macon Brown. At the age of seventeen she moved to High Point where she was a resident the remainder of her life. She also was a member of Southside Baptist Church. Pauline enjoyed collecting shells while walking on the beach, singing and especially basket making. Surviving is her husband of over sixty years, Curtis Ritch of the residence.
Also surviving are her daughters, Linda Schaller and husband Doug of Winston-Salem and Susan Nooe and husband Lee of High Point; grandson, Jarrod Nooe and wife Stephanie of Lexington; and two brothers, Ricky Brown and wife Lib of Coleridge and Tony Brown and wife Sherry of Coleridge. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Allece Cook, Betty Moffitt and Judy Smith.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at Maple Springs United Methodist Church, 6231 N.C. Hwy 22 Ramseur, N.C. 27316 with Rev. Taylor Humphries officiating. Visitation will follow in the church fellowship hall. Memorials may be directed to Hospice of the Piedmont, 1801 Westchester Dr. High Point, N.C., 27262.
