Mrs. Peggy Louise Kennedy Fuller, 86, resident of High Point, died November 29, 2020 at Hospice Home at High Point.
She was born April 2, 1934 in Guilford County, a daughter to the late Alonzo and Etta Cox Kennedy. As a resident of this area all her life, she graduated from Trinity High School and later worked at Sweet Shoppe Bakery and Winn-Dixie, retiring in 1998. She formerly was a member of Mt. Zion United Methodist Church in Trinity. Peggy enjoyed all kinds of needle work (especially crochet) as well as painting and gardening. Her husband, Wilbur “Buck” Fuller, preceded her in death in 1997. She was also preceded by her first husband, Robert L. Dills; a sister, Gladys Kennedy Lucas; and a brother, Kenneth Kennedy.
Surviving are her two daughters, Cathy Boytos and husband Greg of Raleigh and Sandra Cox and husband Joseph of Burlington; two sisters, Helen Kennedy Grubb and husband Harold of High Point and Betty Jean Hill Lambert of High Point; a granddaughter, Andrea Earl of Austin, Texas; three nephews, Wayne, Bill and Randy Grubb; and special friend, Mack Holland of High Point.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday in the chapel of the Cumby Family Funeral Service in Archdale with Rev. Tom Fields officiating. Interment will follow at Randolph Memorial Park Cemetery in Asheboro. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
