ARCHDALE- Peggy Lovett Wells, 82, entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, January 15, 2019.
She was born on August 27, 1936 in Guilford County, to the late John Wesley and Ruby Smith Lovett. A resident of this area all of her life, she was a home-maker and a member of Highland United Methodist Church. Considered a matriarch at her church; she served as church historian, was a very active in the UMW, and had served in various other capacities over the years. Peggy enjoyed her time spent with her church family; but her true love and passion was spending time with her family. She was a loving mother, grandmother and friend to many and will be missed dearly. In addition to her parents, preceding her in death was her beloved husband, Henry Lee Wells, Jr., on March 24, 2007, and her son, Randall Dean Wells, on October 23, 2005.
She is survived by her daughter, Sandy Bialek and husband, Phillip; her grandchildren, Matt Wells and wife, Hannah, Alexandra Bialek, and Jackson Bialek.
A service to celebrate Peggy’s life will be held on Friday afternoon, January 18, at 2 o’clock, from the graveside, in Guilford Memorial Park, with Pastor Wendy Barnes officiating.
