Phyllis Ann (Motsinger) Maready

Mrs. Phyllis Ann Mostsinger Maready, 72 of Kernersville, NC passed away on Monday March 19, 2018.

Phyllis was born June 15, 1945 in Kernersville, NC, and was the daughter of the late Homer Worth and Ora Lee Motsinger. She married the love of her life Mr. Harris “Harry” Maready December 19, 1984. She spent many years in retail sales including Khols, New York carpet world, Lowes Home improvement, and Dillards. Phyllis was a faithful member of The Summit Church in Kernersville, NC. Phyllis loved gardening and her grandchildren very dearly.                                         

She was preceded in death by both parents, and three sisters Eloise Ridgill, Margie Black, and Bobbie Roberts.  Phyliis was a loving Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Sister, and very dear friend she will be missed.

Phyllis is survived by her husband, Harris “Harry” Maready of Kernersville, NC; two sons, Chad Langham of Kernersville, NC, Chris Langham (Renee) of Kernersville, NC; three grandchildren Dylan, Chase, & Jessica Langham of Kernersville; one brother, Larry Motsinger (Mary) of Winston-Salem, NC; one sister, Janice Johnson (Robert) of High Point, NC; and a host of other relatives. The family would like to extend a very special thank you to Phyllis’ niece, Mrs. Donna Willard, of Arizona, for your time and compassion given to Phyllis over the past weeks.

A visitation will be held on 1pm Thursday March 22, 2018 at Cumby Family Funeral Service Eastchester Chapel with the Funeral service following at 2pm.Pastor Jonathan Robbins will be officiating. Burial will take place at Floral Gardens Memorial Park Cemetery.

The family has requested in lieu of flowers that donations be made to Hospice of the Piedmont 1801 Westchester Drive, High Point NC 27262. Cumby Family Funeral Service High Point is in charge of the arrangements.
