Tribute

            Quenton Maurice Harrington, was born November 20, 1993 in High Point, NC. and sadly, passed away on July 27, 2019. Quenton graduated from Southwest Guilford High School in 2012. He was a machine operator at Flowers Bakery. During his time here on earth Quenton loved his family and loved to be around them. He was known to family and friends as “Black”. He had a very special bond with his nieces and nephews. He loved kids dearly. He also loved playing basketball, video games, and eating sweets. He was also known for sending cash app requests. Quenton loved God and believed in the power of prayer. He was a member of Williams Memorial C.M.E Church. He had a smile that would brighten up any room. You would never see him without a smile on his face.

He was preceded in death by his great grandmother Beatrice Graham. Surviving to cherish his memories are his mother and father Qumara Lee of (Brown Summit) and Daniel Harrington Jr. of (High Point); seven brothers Ka-Son Harrington and Rakim Green both of (Brown Summit), Antoine Gladden, Delontae Hicks, Deontae Mock, Jamel McInnis and DeAnthony Ellis as well as two sisters Ashley Malachi and Porsha Spears all of High Point. He had eight aunts, Chereasa Wright (Frederick) of Thomasville, Rasheda Lee, LaToya Timmons, Kabirah Ali, Cynthia Harrington, Debra Harrington, Kamiliah Harrington, Lillian Johnson and one uncle Sultan Ali all of High Point. Also surviving are his maternal grandparents Rasheed Ali and Barbra Lee of High Point and paternal grandparents Daniel Sr. and Elder Wilma Harrington of South Carolina. He also had several nieces and nephews and a host of cousins. Quenton also shared a very special bond with his brother Antoine Gladden and his little cousin D’Aira Lee.

Funeral services for Quenton will be held 1:00 pm Wednesday at Williams Memorial  C.M.E. Church with the Reverend Robert Williams officiating.  Interment will follow in Guil-Rand Memorial Park Cemetery.  The family will greet friends at the church 30 minutes prior to the service.
