Randall Lewis Briley

Randall Lewis Briley, born July 9, 1958, departed this earth and went to his heavenly home on July 9, 2021. Randy is survived by his wife, Renee Semones and his daughter, Reese Briley. He also left behind his mother Carol Garner Briley, brothers Rick Briley (Carol) and Rodney Briley and a large extended family. He was preceded in death by his father, Richard L. Briley, and grandparents Roscoe and Lessie Briley and Jerome and Vera Garner.

Services will be held at 2:00pm Sunday, July 18, in the chapel of the Cumby Family Funeral Service in High Point.  Family will receive visitors prior to service from 1:00pm – 1:45pm.  Reverend Debra Swing will be officiating and inurnment will follow the service at Floral Garden Park Cemetery.

Randy was a graduate of T. Wingate Andrews High School and High Point University. Most of his working life was spent working at Sandy Ridge Golf Course and as Golf Course Superintendent at Winston Lake Golf Course. He later started his own business where he bought and remodeled homes to be sold.

Randy was gentle, kind hearted and quick with a funny saying or story. He will be sorely missed by his family and friends. He loved his family and never missed a family gathering. His daughter, Reese, was the joy of his life and he cherished their time together from the day she was born.  He loved his pets and they were a special part of his life.   

“Go rest high on that mountain. Your work on earth is done.  Go to heaven a –shoutin’….. love for the Father and the Son.”
