ARCHDALE-Rebecca Anne Leonard, 64, passed away on Sunday, February 16, 2020.
She was born on August 9, 1955 in Guilford County, to the late James and Rebecca Mann Flowers. In addition to her parents, preceding her in death was her son, Baby Dean. A resident of this area all her life, she retired from the furniture industry, and was an active member of Hasty Baptist Church, as long as her health permitted. Anne enjoyed traveling; especially to the beach and spending time with her family; particularly her grandchildren. She was a loving wife, mother, sister, and grandmother, and will be dearly missed.
She leaves to cherish her memory; her husband of 20 plus years, Tony Leonard, her children, Amy Lomax and her husband, Chad, Regina Amick and her husband, Christopher, Kim Stegall and her husband, Tim, and Tony Leonard, Jr., and his wife, Patti; her siblings, Kenny Flowers and his wife, Carolyn, Toni Grogan and her husband, Mark, Gina Clodfelter and her husband, Dennis, Lesa Leonard and her husband, Bill; her grandchildren, Bethany and Brooklynn Lomax, Allison and Emma Amick, Kayla and Krista Leonard, Annie Casto, Brenda Amezquita, and Sammi Wolf. Also surviving are her step mother, Ruby Flowers and her stepbrothers, Tony, Timmy and Randy Puckett.
A service to celebrate Anne’s life will be held on Wednesday morning, February 19, at 10 o’clock, in the Chapel of Cumby Family Funeral Service, Archdale, with Reverend Ronnie Beane officiating. The committal service will follow at Spring Hill United Methodist Church Cemetery. Her family will receive friends on Wednesday morning, from 9:00 until 9:45, at the funeral home.
