TRINITY – Richard Thomas Curol, 49, died Sunday, March 28, 2021 at his residence.
He was born April 16, 1971 in High Point and was the son of the late Guy Nicholas and Martha Ann Hughes Curol. He attended Southwest Randolph High School and prior to his disability retirement, he worked in the furniture industry. Richard enjoyed playing baseball and loved his parents and family.
Richard is survived by his wife, Rosa Hill Curol, whom he married on May 6, 2008; children, Nicholas Curol (Joy) of Archdale and Brittany Witty of Trinity; step-children, Christopher Lynn Hill of Lexington, Danny Lee Hill of Denton and Kenneth Lee Wright (Angela) of Trinity; sisters, Janet Marie Curol Arabie (Matt) of Raceland, LA, Charlotte Workman (Jimmy) of Randleman, Toni Bellanger of Lockport, LA and Tammy Ashby of High Point; brothers, Roger Curol (Nina) of Lockport, LA and Ricky Ashby of High Point; eight grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
The family will conduct a memorial service celebrating Richard’s life at 6:00 PM Friday, April 2, 2021 at The Rock Church of Asheboro (2206 N. Fayetteville Street, Asheboro). They will speak to friends following the service.
