Mr. Richard Grant Fisher, 59, of High Point, passed away Wednesday, August 14, 2019, at the Hospice Home at High Point.
Born February 10, 1960, in Greenville, SC, Grant was the son of Kenneth and Kaye Margaret McCombs Fisher. He was a life-long Clemson Tigers fan, and graduated from Clemson University in 1982. Grant was a member of Friendly Hills Church, in Jamestown, where he served as a church deacon. He, along with his wife, owned and operated Shipshape Living by Andrea.
Grant is survived by his wife of 34 years, Andrea Davenport Fisher; his children, Trent Fisher and wife, Maribeth, of Oklahoma City, OK, and Whitney Fisher, of High Point; his parents, Kenneth and Kaye Fisher, of Greenville, SC; grandchildren, Caroline and Colin; a brother, Robbie Fisher and wife, Jana, of Nashville, TN; and a sister, Beth Baumgarten and husband, Tom, of Greenville, SC.
A memorial service will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, August 17th, at Friendly Hills Church, 1450 Guilford College Rd. in Jamestown, officiated by Rev. Nathan Kline. The family will receive friends from 7 until 8:30 pm, Friday, August 16th, at the church.
