Richard "Rick" Myron Cox

RANDLEMAN – Richard “Rick” Myron Cox, 53, died Friday, January 27, 2023, in Randleman.

He was born August 9, 1969, in Williamsport, Pennsylvania, and was the son of Martha Harmon Cox Jones and the late Richard William Cox. Rick was a strong Christian who believed in faith and God. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed fishing and hunting. He was a jack-of-all-trades and worked in maintenance and mechanical work most of his life.

Rick is survived by his wife, Joanna Stock Cox; three children, Morgan Cox, Joshua Cox and Isaiah Cox, all of the home; his mother and step-father, Martha and Albert “Al” Jones; two sisters, Anna Ainsworth and Diana McClurken; brother, Joseph Cox; and several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service celebrating Rick’s life will be held at a later date at Hope Baptist Church in Sophia.
