It only came to my attention today that Riley had passed. I worked with Riley for many years at Armstrong when I started as an Scientist. He was a good manager and equally good Scientist. I learned a lot from him over the years and could relay many interesting stories about the very dry sense of humor he had. Riley had a tough exterior but from my perspective a big heart. This big heart was only seen once you got to know him. The old saying that his bark was worse than his bite seems appropriate. He was a good man from my perspective. I feel fortunate that Riley was brought into my life, he is someone I highly respected and will not forget. My sincere condolences go out to his family for their loss.

We were very saddened to hear the news of Riley's passing. We were neighbors some time ago and continued our friendship when they moved away. Riley was a wonderful person that loved and cherished his family; We have great memories of he, Janice & Beverly! I am very thankful to have a few of Janice's famous recipes which I will cherish forever as well as a Christmas cactus from their collection that they gave me 17 years ago. Condolences to the family!!!

So very sad. Riley was quite the person. I have to share a very funny story. Years ago several family members went on a cruise together. It happened to be Halloween, well many of us dressed up, I asked Riley where his costume was, he told me he didn't participate in frivolous things like the such. Well that was all I needed to hear. I quickly adorned him in a Halloween get up. Janice laughed so hard no said, you are the only one who get away with doing this. He was a great person, he adored Janice so very much. I have great memories of everyone. I remember telling him the last time I saw him that as a child I was so afraid of him, he chuckled at that. My thoughts are with you all.
