Rita Marie (Hamman) Rondon

Rita Marie Rondon, loving mother, passed away peacefully in her Jamestown residence on April 16, 2024, at the age of 64.

Rita was born on July 31, 1959, in Rialto, California, and was the daughter of the late Paul Hamman and Agnes McLean Hamman.  She graduated from Eisenhower High School and went on to become a business owner.  She was Catholic by faith, finding strength and comfort in her religious beliefs.

Rita brought joy and warmth to everyone she encountered.  Her laughter could light up a room, and her love for life was infectious.  She had a way of finding humor in life's moments, even during difficult times.  Rita found joy and fulfillment in the simplest of moments spent with her family, creating cherished memories that will be treasured forever.

In addition to her devotion to family, Rita’s passion for music was a defining aspect of her life.  Whether she was singing along to her favorite songs or attending concerts with loved ones, music was a source of comfort and inspiration for her.

Rita was preceded in death by her brother, Donald Hamman and is survived by her loving partner, Eddie Wagoner; her sons, Mark Rondon (Lorrie), and Matthew Rondon; her daughters, Monica Rondon, and Moriah Hamman; grandchildren, Desiree Rondon, Jaden Allred, Peyton Rondon, Isaac Rondon, Harper Rondon, A’mari Mann, Dylan Stegenga and Grace Stegenga; brothers, Jimmy Hamman, and Keith Austin; sisters, Elaine Hamman, and Paula Hamman; and family, Mama Arias, Maria Arias, Letty Vela.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the Chapel of Cumby Family Funeral Service in High Point at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, April 21, 2024.  Reverend Mr. Martin Sheehan will officiate.  The family will receive guests following the service. 

Rita Marie Rondon leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and unforgettable memories.  Though she may be gone, her spirit will live on in the hearts of those who loved her.
