Ronald Ray "Ron" Dunn

THOMASVILLE-Ronald Ray “Ron” Dunn, 73, passed away on Tuesday, April 16, 2019.

He was born on October 29, 1945 in Guilford County, to the late John and Minnie Hall Dunn. A resident of this area all of his life, he was retired from the textile industry and was of the Baptist faith. Ron enjoyed playing golf, bowling and watching NASCAR. In addition to his parents, preceding him in death were his sister, Joann Telford and 2 brothers, Ralph Dunn and Roy Dunn.

He is survived by his niece, Brenda Ford (Ricky); his great niece, Tina Shuler (Phil) and a great nephew, Timmy Tucker.

A service to celebrate Ron’s life will be held on Friday evening, April 19, at 6 o’clock, in the chapel of Cumby Family Funeral Service in Archdale, with Pastor Mark Mosley officiating. His family will receive friends on Friday evening following the service until 7:30, at the funeral home.
