Ronald "Ronnie" Gary McDowell II

ARCHDALE – Ronald “Ronnie” Gary McDowell II, 33, died Saturday, October 6, 2018, at his residence.

He was born February 18, 1985, in High Point and was the son of Ronald Gary McDowell of Archdale and Kathy Murray McDowell of Thomasville.  He attended Highland Baptist Church for most of his life.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by two brothers, Justin McDowell and Jacob McDowell; his paternal grandparents, Dotty McDowell of Archdale, and Gary McDowell (Beverly) of Midway; his maternal grandparents, Jimmy and Kathryn Murray of Thomasville; and his beloved dog, Sarge.

Graveside service celebrating Ronnie’s life will be held at 3:00 PM Sunday at Faith Baptist Church Cemetery in Archdale with Rev. Sam Eaton and Rev. Keith Letterman officiating.

The family will receive friends from 1:30 to 2:30 PM Sunday at Cumby Family Funeral Service in Archdale.
