Ronnie Hedgecock

TRINITY- Ronnie Hedgecock, 77, passed away on Sunday, June 9, 2019.

He was born on February 14, 1942 in Baltimore, MD, to the late Franklin and Bessie Montgomery Hedgecock. A resident of this area most of his life, he was a proud veteran of the US Army, having served in Vietnam, and later serving in the Army Reserves, retiring in 2008. He attended Springfield Baptist Church. He enjoyed NASCAR racing, but his true love and passion was his beloved late wife, Gail Stanley Hedgecock.

He is survived by his sister, Dianne Phillips (Dewey); his brother, Stevie Hedgecock and a number of nieces and nephews. A service to celebrate Ronnie’s life will be held on Wednesday afternoon, at 2 o’clock, in the chapel of Cumby Family Funeral Service in Archdale, with Pastor Bobby Loving officiating. Interment will follow in Floral Garden Memorial Park Cemetery. Military Honors will be accorded by the Randolph County Honor Guard. His family will receive friends on Wednesday afternoon, from 1:00 until 1:45 at the funeral home.
