Ronnie William Overman

Ronnie Overman, the oldest child of the late Nan and C.R. Overman, passed away peacefully during the evening of February 25, 2021.  Ronnie is survived by his children, Alysa, Kirstyn, and Brandt Overman and granddaughter Haven Prince.  Ronnie is also survived by his siblings Susan Overman Tayloe (Robert), Tim Overman (Lisa), and Martha Overman Dula (Mark), as well as numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, and cousins.

Ronnie was a lifelong resident of High Point, North Carolina.  He attended Andrews High School during which time he began doing construction work.  Ronnie’s work career was with Kirkland General Contractors, first with Milton and Janice Kirkland and later with their son Scott.  Kirkland was like a second family to Ronnie.

Ronnie’s ashes will be buried with his parents at the Hawfields Presbyterian Church cemetery located near Mebane in Alamance County, North Carolina.  A grave side service will be held on Tuesday, March 2 at 2:00 pm.  Friends and family are invited.

In lieu of flowers Ronnie’s family request that donations be made to the American Cancer Society at 7027 Albert Pick Rd. Greensboro, NC, 27409 or to Hospice of the Piedmont at 1801 Westchester Dr. High Point, NC, 27262.
