Roy Daniel 'Danny' Leonard, Jr.

Roy Daniel "Danny" Leonard was called home to be with his Lord and Savior on March 10, 2018, while in the care of the wonderful staff at Forsyth Medical Center.  He was born December 4, 1945, in High Point.  Danny loved Jesus with all of his heart as well as his family and friends. He also loved going hunting, fishing, playing cornhole, making people laugh, telling stories, helping others.  He had a sense of humor that will be truly missed.

Surviving him are his two sisters, Loma Vanhoy and Billy Witcher; his beloved partner, Phylis Barber and her family; his son Jonathan Leonard and daughter-in-law Tisha; his two grandsons Jacob and Chase; as well as nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 7:00-8:30 pm on Thursday, March 15, 2018, at Cumby Family Funeral Service, 1015 Eastchester Dr. in High Point.  A Memorial Service will be held at 7:00 pm on Saturday, March 24, 2018, at Union Ridge United Methodist Church in Winston-Salem.
